At the start of the last century, a spirited young man named Calixte Veulemans, created AUX ARMES DE BRUXELLES restaurant and made it into an upscale establishment. His sons and grandsons took over the business achieving the same success.
In 2006, the Veulemans sold the restaurant, but sadly it fell into disrepair until 2018 when it was purchased by Rudy Vanlancker, owner of CHEZ LEON, another Brussels institution in the area, who wanted to return it to its former glory as a legendary restaurant in the Belgian capital.
The private function rooms can accommodate 15-150 people, and can be used for private receptions, business dinners, conferences or family celebrations (christenings, weddings, etc.).
With traditional, homely yet elegant Brussels décor, quality service, a friendly setting steeped in history and a wide range of menus specially developed by our chef, Cédric Callenaere.
