Kitchens, bar and dining rooms
When Aux Armes de Bruxelles was taken over, renovation work had already been begun by the Vanlancker family. The most significant renovation project was of course the kitchen, the heart of the establishment. It had been demolished and rebuilt to fulfill the requirements of a high-level contemporary dining experience.
The next most important renovation project was the bar. It was completely gutted and redesigned by Philippe De Gendt, renowned illustrator and long-time family friend. Today it provides space for a handful of customers to enjoy an aperitif while waiting for their table.
Although the dining rooms on the ground floor have also been renovated, their old-fashioned elegance has been preserved. There was no need to make any serious changes to their classic features. In fact, if you are a long-time customer, you won’t notice any difference. Everything has been faithfully recreated, with the addition of a few modern touches.
The upstairs dining rooms can accommodate between 10 and 150 people. All spaces are available for private reservation.
